CubRoar
Spend your time on the music. We'll handle the rest.
CubRoar is the musical arm of CubCloud AI, Montana's Sovereign AI Company, put to work for musicians. It's two things at once: a boutique recording studio you can make a record in, and an AI-powered label crew that runs the business side for you. Use one, use both. You never sign your masters away, and the AI never touches your art. It clears the busywork off your plate so you can get back to your instrument.

The AI Handles the Busywork.Never Your Art.
CubRoar's AI works on the business of music, not the making of it. We say that first because you've heard the horror stories. It handles your promotion, your emails, your releases, and your paperwork. It does not write your songs, it does not replace your voice, and it never trains on your music unless you say so. The craft stays yours, start to finish. The machines just do the parts you never wanted to do anyway.
You Got Into This to Play. Not to Do Paperwork.
Independent artists lose most of their week to the business of music, not the music. Chasing playlist adds. Writing the same pitch email fifty times. Booking, posting, tagging, scheduling, splitting royalties, answering messages. The music is the part you'd do for free. The business is the part that burns people out and pulls them off their instrument for days at a time.
CubRoar takes that off your plate. The crew runs the grind, our own NVIDIA machines give it the muscle to move fast, and you get your hours back where they belong.
The Business Side,Done For You.
CubRoar's AI crew runs the day-to-day work of building a music career. Here's what it takes off your plate.
- Getting heard. The crew pitches playlists and curators and gets you into rotation on RoarRadio, so your song stops dying in a submission inbox.
- Staying in touch.Your career runs on relationships: the venue that books you, the promoter who answered once, the fan from the merch table. CubRM keeps every one of them, remembers the history, and works the follow-ups, so nothing goes cold while you're out on the road.
- Getting it out.Distribution, smart links, and a release plan run start to finish, so putting a song out is a decision you make, not a weekend you lose.
- Looking the part.Your EPK, promo cards, and release videos, built on demand and never out of date.
- Getting paid right.Splits set once and tracked automatically, so everybody's square and nobody's chasing anybody down.
- Finding the words. When you want it, the Writing Room kicks around lyrics and production ideas, trained on our own catalog, built to spark yours. Only when you reach for it.
The point isn't the size of the list. It's the hours it hands back, the ones you spend on your instrument instead of your inbox.
A Boutique Room Built AroundOne Artist at a Time.
CubRoar Studio is a boutique recording studio at CubCloud’s Kestrel site in Missoula, Montana, opening summer 2026. It’s the second room Joshua Rhines has built. The first was Sound West Studios, and everything ten years there taught him about how artists actually work is baked into this one. A proper live room and a separate control room, both acoustically treated, built for the work most artists actually do: vocals, guitars, keys, singer-songwriters, small bands, voiceover, and podcasts. One artist at a time, full focus, the engineer knows your name.
The gear is the real thing. Gibson and PRS electrics and a Taylor acoustic, into a Diezel VH4 or an Axe-Fx III, so the tone is there whether you want tubes moving air or the whole rig in the box. A Neumann U87 on vocals, the mic half your favorite records were sung into, and a Shure SM7B for podcasts and broadcast. You plug in and it already sounds like a record.
And if you don’t have a band, we do. CubRoar keeps a network of professional working musicians, session vocalists, and songwriters, people we’ve shared stages and sessions with for years, available for your record. Need a drummer, a harmony stack, or a co-writer to finish the song that’s been sitting at ninety percent? One call, and the room fills with people who’ve done this a thousand times. Credited or uncredited, your call, on paper either way.
And the room isn’t just for bands. It’s a proper voice room too: podcasts, voiceover, and vocal sessions, on the same mics the records get cut on. It’s where we record CubCasts, our own shows, and it’s open for yours.
Every genre’s welcome here. If we’re being straight about what the room does best, it’s podcasts, voiceover, and rock, that’s the gear and the history. But country, folk, hip-hop, electronic, spoken word, bring it. Good ears and a treated room don’t care what genre you play.
And here’s the part that makes this room different: you don’t just walk out with a recording. You walk out with the whole crew already working on it. The label, the promo, the radio, the CRM, all running behind the glass before you’ve packed up your gear. A small room with a huge back end. And while the studio is in Missoula, the crew works wherever you do.

We Own the MachinesThat Do the Work.
CubRoar runs on twelve NVIDIA GPUs that we own and operate on-premises in Missoula, Montana. Owning the hardware is the whole trick. It’s why the crew is fast, and it’s why we can do this for every artist without charging you per task. When an agent builds your release plan or cleans up a take, it happens on our iron, in our state, under our roof.
Same reason a band buys its own amps instead of renting them by the hour. The gear is ours, so the power’s there when you need it.

- 12 NVIDIA GPUs
- H200 · H100 · RTX 6000 Blackwell
- Owned & operated in Missoula, MT

A Catalog WithNo Lawyers Attached.
Everything CubRoar's AI learns from is music we own outright. One hundred fifty original songs from a single writer, cut over ten years at Sound West Studios, cleared front to back, with full multitracks and stems. No scraping, no mystery samples, no borrowed sound. And every track we put out carries its receipts, traceable back to what it learned from. Nobody else in this business can say that and mean it. That's not just principle. It's what makes our tools safe to build a career on.
The Receipt
Every track CubRoar touches ships with one of these. Click it, trace the lineage, see the human who signed off. That's the receipt.

Sell Your Music Here.It Never Trains an AI.
The Sovereign Storefront is where artists sell music and merch direct to fans, on infrastructure we own, with a guarantee nobody else in this business makes: your music is never used to train AI. Not ours, not anyone's. Not unless you choose to opt in, on your terms, with a receipt to prove it.
We can make that promise because we're an AI company. We know exactly what training takes, and we built our pipeline to keep your catalog out of it. Every track you host here is tagged with your consent status and honored end to end. Your music, your merch, your fans, your rights, your call.
Everything an Artist Needs,One Place.
CubRoar is one brand that spans the studio and the platform. Here's what lives under it.
CubRoar Studio. The boutique room. Where records get made and the pipeline starts. Opening summer 2026.
CubRoar Records. An agentic label where the machines run the machinery and you keep the spotlight and your masters. Home to the Promo Crew that handles your business, the Writing Room, and the Sovereign Storefront, the only place to sell your music with a guarantee it never trains an AI.
CubRM. The first CRM built for how musicians actually work. Big companies pay serious money for software that remembers every customer. CubRM gives a working artist the same power over the contacts that make a career: fans, venues, promoters, press, and collaborators, in one place, with a crew that remembers everything and follows up so you don’t have to. It’s the memory the whole CubRoar crew runs on.
RoarRadio. An always-on AI radio station with hosts that write their own scripts and pull up your story on the fly. Real airplay, not a submission form.
CubCasts. Where Montana’s tech world and its musicians end up in the same room. Two monthly shows cut right in the studio, one on tech, one on music, putting local and regional artists, builders, and the people behind them in front of a real mic and a mix that sounds like a record. It’s how we connect the scene: tech, musicians, and community, one conversation at a time.
Run by SomeoneWho's Actually Done It.
CubRoar was founded by Joshua Rhines, a working musician and recording engineer with twenty years on stage and fifteen behind the board. He built Sound West Studios and spent ten years filling it with recordings. That catalog is now the DNA of CubRoar, and he still gigs in three bands. He isn't an AI guy who found music. He's a musician who got tired of watching this stuff get built by people who've never loaded out of a bar at 2am and don't know how much time the business steals from the music.
- 20 years on stage
- 15 behind the board
- 3 working bands: The Ghost Peppers · Fate’s Frontier · High Voltage
He's not doing it alone. Azlyn Caldwell, Chief Research Officer, leads the research behind the models. Jet Locati, junior engineer, is the newest set of hands on the stack. Small crew, all in.
Not an Artist? There's a Lane Here for You.
CubRoar also serves the businesses around music: licensing buyers, AI builders, and partners. Here's what's on offer.
- Sync and licensing. Our catalog is cleared front to back and ready for film, TV, games, and ads. One writer, no rights surprises, no lawyer landmines. The easy yes in a room full of maybes.
- Clean training data.A legally-clean, single-author dataset for builders and researchers who are done sweating over where their data came from.
- Partnerships.Brands, venues, stations, sponsors. If you want in, there’s a way in.
Under the hood: models trained and served on our own NVIDIA GPUs, agentic systems, and a clean-data pipeline with real opt-out, all running on the sovereign infrastructure of CubCloud AI, Montana's Sovereign AI Company.
CubRoar Runs on CubCloud.
CubRoar is one arm of CubCloud AI, Montana's Sovereign AI Company. We build and own our own AI infrastructure, right here in the state. The same sovereign stack that maps out a musician's release runs custom AI for businesses across Montana. The music is the part you see. Underneath it is a full AI company, owned data, owned compute, answering to nobody.
We Built Both Ends On Purpose.
CubRoar owns both ends of the music it makes, the gear and the catalog, because Montana taught us to. This is a state of people who own their tools and answer to nobody. Everyone else's AI runs on rented computers and scraped songs, then asks artists to trust it. We didn't want to ask. We wanted to prove it. So we bought the iron, we cleared the catalog, we put a real studio at the front of it, and we made every track traceable to its source. Artists first. Always.
The Studio Opens This Summer.Get In First.
The waitlist is for the room. CubRoar Studio opens at the Kestrel site this summer, and the list decides who's in it first: first sessions, first podcasts, first records cut at Kestrel. No spam, no noise, just a heads-up when it's your turn.
Everything else, mixing, mastering, services, licensing, partnerships, doesn't wait. Reach out and we'll get to work.
